Debbie - Office Manager and Treatment Coordinator

Hello, my name is Debbie, and Im the office manager and also a treatment coordinator for Dr. Carmen. Ive been with Dr. Carmen since 1995 and in orthodontics for 33 years. My favorite thing about orthodontics is watching the transformation of personalities and the increase in self confidence that takes place no matter what age our patients wear braces. I truly believe smiles change lives and increase opportunities.

I also love the fact that Dr Carmen has offices in three different communities. Although they are fairly close to each other it really allows us to get to know our patients better and be part of the community they go to school or work in. I admire Dr Carmen for being so interested in his patients and he really enjoys getting to know them. I also admire him for the fact so many dentists around our city insist their patients see only Dr Carmen when they are ready for orthodontic treatment as well as bring their own families and staff to us. I think that speaks volumes about his reputation among his peers. I am so lucky to be part of such a positive environment.

I am a native of Toledo, Ohio and currently live in Dublin, Ohio with my husband Buddy and our four legged babies Barney and Scooter. I have a married daughter Kristie who lives nearby with her husband Tyler and my son Joe lives in California where we lived for ten years before moving back to Ohio in 1994. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling to warm climates for fun and sun!

Tammy, Treatment Coordinator

My name is Tammy, and I am the treatment coordinator and a certified orthodontic assistant for Dr. Carmen. Since 1995, Ive had the great pleasure of working with patients just like you to provide gentle, quality, and rewarding orthodontic care. I've worked in dentistry for over 24 years. During that time one of my favorite things is getting to know all of our patients and seeing the wonderful changes and great results that each person achieves throughout their treatment. Working with Dr. Carmen is also a great experience; he is knowledgeable, fun, and caring, and always strives to deliver the best results possible. I am originally from Pickerington, OH, and have lived in Carroll since 1998. I am married, and have two children, Vance and Andrea. I love spending time with my family, and I enjoy being in the great outdoors.

Welcome to the orthodontic practice of Dr. Carmen! As a certified orthodontic assistant, I am excited to meet you and work with you throughout your orthodontic treatment. Ive been working with Dr. Carmen in the field of orthodontics since 1986. My favorite thing about orthodontics is that Im constantly learning new things. Whether Im learning about my patients and their interests, or about new orthodontic treatments and procedures, this is truly an exciting industry, and I have one of the greatest jobs! I am a native of Lock Haven, PA, and have lived in Canal Winchester since 1998. I have three lovely daughters, Sara, Jordan, and Jenna. When Im away from the practice, I spend most of my time with my children and travelling.

Joan, Financial Coordinator

As your financial coordinator, I have been working in orthodontics and with Dr. Carmen since 1986. During my time working in orthodontic practice, I have come to appreciate how something as simple as improving someones smile can change his or her whole outlook on life and the way they feel about themselves. Working with Dr. Carmen is great; hes a wonderful orthodontist who always strives to give the best care possible to his patients. Its been such a great experience working at this practice, and I look forward to many more years of happy smiles and meaningful friendships. I have lived in Columbus, OH my whole life, and feel a great connection to this city! My husband, Craig, and I have four children, Megan, Shane, Katie, and Margy. In my spare time, I love to bake, go on walks, go fishing, read, and spend time with my family.

Hi, my name is Traci, and I am an orthodontic assistant for Dr. Carmen. I am looking forward to working with you and your family, and being a part of your life-changing orthodontic experience! I have worked in orthodontics since 1991, and every year I can honestly say that I still love what I do. Working with Dr. Carmen is great; hes such a wonderful boss, and a great orthodontist. I enjoy the relationships I build with our patients; to me, each patient is like an extended member of my family! I am a Columbus native, but I currently live in Canal Winchester. My husband, Sean, and I have two children, Kaleigh and Landen. I love spending time with my family, and watching my kids grow and experience life.

Hi, my names Barb! Ive been working with Dr. Carmen and in the field of orthodontics since 2001. Here at the practice, I work to make sure that all of your billing is done correctly, and that all of your insurance questions are answered thoroughly. I truly enjoy what I do; working with Dr. Carmen is great, his caring personality and joyful sense of humor make our practice a delightful place to be! We also have a wonderful, dedicated team who work hard to make sure that you and your family enjoys your orthodontic experience. I am originally from Columbus, OH, and have lived between Columbus and Pickerington my whole life. My husband Mike and I have one son, one daughter-in-law, and two precious grandchildren. I also have two pugs, Lexi and Riley. In my spare time, I enjoy spending tons of quality time with my family, especially enjoying my time with my grandchildren and puppies, as well as boating and fishing.

Daniele, Insurance Coordinator, Scheduling Coordinator

I have been working at the front desk at Dr. Carmens office since 2004! I work with all of our patients and families to schedule appointments, answer questions, verify insurance, and file claims. I love getting to know all of our unique patients, and knowing that I am helping many of them achieve a lifelong goal of a beautiful smile. Working with Dr. Carmen and the entire team is such a great experience. Dr. Carmen is extremely generous with his patients, and works hard to provide the most personal, individualized care possible. I love what I do, and all of the great people I meet! I am a native of Groveport, OH, and have lived in Columbus for over 15 years. My husband, Eric, and I have two daughters, Elizabeth and Abigail. Outside of the practice, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family, reading, and watching movies!

Hi, Im Lori! I am a certified orthodontic assistant for Dr. Carmen. I have been in dentistry for 12 years, in orthodontics since 2007. Dr. Carmen has a great personality, he is such a fun orthodontist, and its obvious that he truly loves what he does. My favorite thing about working in orthodontics, aside from Dr. Carmen and the team, is getting to see all of the bright, happy before and after smiles on our patients faces. I love helping our patients achieve the smiles theyve always wanted. I currently live in Canal Winchester with my husband, Chad, and out two sons, Chad Jr. and Brendon. I have been in the dental field for over 12 years, but in my free time away from the practice, I enjoy scrapbooking and camping.

I am originally from Hilliard, OH, and now live in Columbus. I just recently got married to my husband Nick. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

 Hi, my name is Liz and I am new to Dr. Carmen's team but have loved learning and growing with his practice.  His sense of humor and obvious love of what he does in Orthodontics makes coming to work genuinely enjoyable.   Seeing patients happy about their beautiful end result and the way orthodontics dramatically improves patients self esteem makes what I do such a rewarding experience.  I love getting to see the change that takes place with their smiles.   I am a North Canton native but I have called Columbus home since 2005.  I love spending time with friends and family, running and being competitive. Hi, I'm Kris and I have been with Dr. Carmen's team since January 2010.  This has been a great place to experience the best of what Orthodontics can offer and learn all about what Orthodontics can do.  What I love best about Dr. Carmen and his practice is his sense of humor and how great he is with all of our patients.  Seeing the transformation of our patient's smiles and how much better they feel about their teeth and themselves makes what I do so rewarding.  Meeting new patients everyday and getting to see how we change their lives is one of my favorite things about Orthodontics.  I am a native of Canton, Ohio but I currently reside in Pickerington and have lived there for 12 years.  I have two wonderful sons; Adam and Austin and a grandson Noah.  When I am not at the practice I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.

Hello, my name is Andrea and I've been an orthodontic assistant since 1998.  I'm relatively new to Dr. Carmen's practice but his lively sense of humor and extensive knowledge of orthodontics has made this a wonderful place to work.  Not to mention the staff is fun and our patients are great!  For me the most rewarding part of working in orthodontics is watching how a patient's smile develops over time and how their confidence progressively increases throughout their treatment.  It's really an amazing experience.    I live in Pickerington with my husband of 10 years, Josh, and our two wonderful children, Austin and Ava.  I love spending time with my family, watching my kids play sports, reading, baking and just enjoying the outdoors.

My name is Danette and I have worked in the Orthodontic field since 1986 and I have been with Dr. Carmen since 2010.  The thing about Dr. Carmen that I admire most and what makes this practice different from others is his genuine interest in all of his patients and how he puts a 110% into everyones treatment.  I love that we are creating beautiful smiles that last a lifetime.  Our team works together to make sure everyone is satisfied and that's a great feeling.  I am originally from Upper Arlington but currently call Bexley home.  I have a wonderful husband named Steven and we enjoy kayaking and rowing with the Columbus Rowing Team.  When we are not outside playing in the water we enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Hello, my name is Brandi and even though I am new to Dr. Carmen's office it has been such a great team and family environment to be a part of. What I love best about Dr. Carmen and my co-workers is the way they practice orthodontics and how they genuinely care for each and every patient.
